Or race him here in Oregon. You have to be 16 and have a drivers license to operate a class 2 off road vehicle here, and that is how they classify the RZR...

I think you have to be 16 in CA too... at least if you're in a state park or public riding area.

My buddy just picked up a new "S" and he had to sign a waiver that even the passengers had to be 16 yrs old with a minimum height to reach the floorboards.

The PoPo lawyers are staying up late at night figuring out how to cover their ass.

their is a guy on the rhino fourm and he posted here too....his daughter was killed in a rhino rollover...he's one of the big supporters of the class action law suit..... i feel for his loss ...but!
this is what happen.......his friend/neighbor was .(DRUNKvery drunk) him and the young girl wer goofing of in the front yard.(not trails) drinking wile driving no seat belts no helmits ...nothing to save this young lady..... he crashes it flips it over and the girls dies!....so the family of the girl goes and sues yamaha for this blaming the rhino for fliping over......hmmmmm what about the idiot that caused this for !. being drunk and stuid...2. sorry for this but needs to be said...the parents of this poor inocent girl for letting her ride with hm knowing his condition watching ...laughting and all.... they didnt go after him ....because he had no money!!! so the suits said lets go after yamaha they have deep endless pockets....... read your owners book and look at all the warning stickers...dont drink and drive....dont operate if doing drugs or achaholl..no pasengers under 12.....no drivers under 16...no jumping...no sliding...no crossing streams....dont clime steep hills and on and on....so why must people blame a machine that has no mind of its own ....cant stop idiots for driving....dam do we need them to be like kit from night rider and have a safty thing built in?????? ok enought of this back to fun....

I agree with you. There is no way Yamaha should have to pay a dime. They have all these cautions for a reason. Some people make poor judgement calls and then turn around and blame someone else for their stupidity. They equip seat belts for a reason but i guess people choose to ignore that and obviously they paid the price for it. Yes these things have the ability to flip over. So does almost any other vehicle. Even if Yamaha or any other SxS manufacturer provided safety harnesses on their stock units it would be the same. There are dumbass people out there that break the rules and dont think about the consequences.

Oregon passed new laws that require you to pass a test and have an ATV safety card, but it is being phased in. If you have kids under 16 riding quads then you need to have a card and supervise them. If you have an atv safety certification from another state it is valid in Oregon.

RZR's are over 800lbs so they are class 2 vehicles in Oregon and you have to have a drivers license to operate them and carry a fire extinguisher in it.

They might need to get Oregon permits on all their atv's.

That is because of Dunefest at Winchester Bay.
Did you try the campgrounds near Florence Oregon?

I will look on it now, pull some phone numbers from Florence area camp grounds. I know about Dunefest, but thought a week before should not be so bad, but people probably come before to secure space and stay all week long.

Here is the reason my engine was not running right.
This rubber coupler goes between the throttle body and the engine. There is a "T" shaped tear in the bottom of it:

I pushed a sharpie pen through the hole to show the size of the tear:

The dealer showed me another one that they had replaced due to a tear, but it was torn where the edge of the clamp is that holds it onto the throttle body. They said they haven't seen one tear in this location before. It is very thick rubber, at about 5/16" where it tore. There is a seam from the injection mold where it tore...

It probably tore due to engine vibration. The added boost pressure from the turbo might have made the tear bigger, but I don't think it was the cause. I am not sure if the rubber hose and elbow on the other side of the TB move as much as the rubber bellows between the stock air filter and the TB, or if that would make much of a difference.

I am going to keep an extra one of these fittings on hand in case it happens again.

The billet one from Holz is supposed to be sick! Turbo guys might want to think about upgrading to that. I've also heard that the performance that goes along with it is definitely worth the money!

Looks like a nice piece Cliff...I say go for it, especially since you've already had the stock one break once. It definitely won't hurt, and it appears that it will flow more air too, potentially. Just double check your display's logs once you install it to make sure it's not leaning out, but I doubt it, because it's still going to be restricted from the throttle body.
