Like some of the things with the newer KWT Particle Separator. It is interesting. Curious if anyone on this forum has experience with it. Like the small footprint and no fan, but function is everything.

I know. The first S&B did not have a fan and was not that hot. The KWT may be sized per machine, which would help. New product deserves a close look. At the price point, do not want to be the tester.

I deleted the thread. The poster was just selling his product and was on another forum that we had a dispute together

Just a heads up on the KWT particle separator before anyone wastes their money.
Found this info on another site and thought I would put it up here:

I purchased a KWT Separator while at Camp RZR as I too thought their claims were "interesting". We tested it against the S&B Particle Separator. I will let the test results speak for themselves. We are only interested in publishing facts and have included test details and pictures. We have spent close to a million dollars on our climate control lab, and it is one of the best in the country. In our lab, we test to the ISO 5011 Filtration Test Standard and use ISO Test Dust. I also sent these results over to KWT and gave them over a week to respond in case we made any errors. I got no response. Please let me know if you have any questions. - Berry

I know nothing of KWT, but I certainly think a lot of S&B. I too am quite convinced a passive system just won't do. 185 nailed it in post #2: Something passive like this can't, won't, protect you at lower CFM demands. Much of the time we're in trail, part throttle dealing with dust. I don't get to ride enough to justify it, but if I did I'd own and S&B.

I can say that after 7 months of dusty trail riding (over 1k mile). My S&B exceeds my expectations. The air box & filter is super clean! No dust inside the box, and I even removed to filter and tapped it on the driveway, no dust cam out! Well worth the money!

Regardless of what I read on the internet, I'm always skeptical about claims on how something performs. The S&B is awesome. When you can go an entire season in the desert and the filter has next to nothing in it, that's exceptional.

I just had to buy another one because I had a little flop over on some rocks and there was a perfectly placed rock that crushed the body of the S&B. I didn't even hesitate to spend the $400 to replace it.
