Almost certain the pro will not have a dct or manual transmission of any kind .. given the leaks from patents , shock therapy and various other influences it will have sequentially shifted cvt..much like in in the automotive industry, be able to select “ratios” not gears.

So what is everyone's thoughts on when and if they will reveal a Pro R and/or a Pro S this year? I'm thinking that if they don't announce something, even a teaser, by Nov 1st, that they aren't going to this year. Then I'll have to jump on the 64" Pro wagon, I've missed to much riding this year as is waiting on something to be revealed or at least announced.

Ha!!! Right after I posted my last comment, my dealer called. Said that they just heard from their Polaris person that they are announcing a new model/models in November. I'm assuming it's legit, because every other time I've asked about the upcoming models, they always said they haven't heard anything yet.

As I posted on the previous page, I've heard the Pro R will be 74" wide w/225hp and it will not be offered in a four seat version. I've heard that there will be Pro 72" 4 seater with less HP.; probably the current 181hp 2cyl motor. Would this be the Pro "S"?

I asked two separate Polaris Reps at Sand Show (on Friday night and One Sunday a.m.) about the Pro R and/or a new Pro XP Turbo S (72" wide) both said an announcement of something new would come before year end - so we could "read" between the lines on what that was, but the announcement was coming soon.

So they kept the buzz alive and told us absolutely nothing 🤣!

I have no information - but believe that Polaris will bring both when they can deliver them timely and have parts for them once they are out there. My guess on spec's;

Pro R - NA 225 hp +/- and 74" wide +/- new transmission (2 seat only)

XP Pro Turbo S - current Turbo motor and drive system - 72" wide (2 seat and 4 seat).

I just hope they bump the XP Pro Turbo S power up to 200 hp. stock.

Would not be at all surprised if they announce before year end as late 2022 models and bleed them out later in the year.

Now I have to find a bumper pull toy hauler that will fit a Pro XP S 4 seater. Always buy a bigger trailer, always, you will need the extra space every single time.
Best options for bumper pull are the ATC 2917 or 2823. The 2917 is 29' and has front bedroom and bathroom - 15'8" of space with no cabinet obstructions. The 2823 is a front bathroom model with 17' 10" of space with no cabinet obstructions.

I have a 2419 which has 11' 8" of space with no cabinets and 18' 1" of loading space with 74" of width available - this is what I have now - wish I ordered a 2917 instead - but it works great with my Pro XP 4 Ultimate.

They may a 36' 5th wheel as well that has 14' 8" of unobstructed space before the first cabinet which is super nice. This would be my first choice for quality of towing and layout.

Good luck finding what works for you when the time comes!

Those ATC's are sweet, but my wife disagrees.... She needs a king bed, among other things. She has me leaning towards the Forest River Stealth KS3016G, as long as the RZR will fit. I have a 2015 Eclipse Stellar right now, but it only has a 12' garage area before it hits the cabinets.

I looked at this exact model after I got my 2419 and thought my new 2419 ATC was a bit tight. It is rated for 13,000 lbs and the sticker on trailer in stock with generator showed it weighed 10,103 lbs. - dry - yikes - only leaves 2,900 lbs of cargo. The ATC 2917 is about 7,600 - dry - so a lot more capacity.

I will say the floor plans from Forest River are more residential feeling and have very nice layouts, if you don't mind the extra weight. In addition they cost substantilly less than the ATC - whose pricing has gone insane - a 2917 built how I wanted it in January 2021 was $107k - my 2419 was 87k (both with same options). 2917 with same configuration today is $131k (I just looked at switching to one) and new 2022 prices going into effect on all 2022 models (11/2021) it would sticker out at $151k - so 50% increase in price in 1 year, nuts - plus I got 17% off from dealer and $5,000 bonus off from ATC in January on the 2419 - today - the offer was nothing from ATC and 5% off from dealer - so I will keep my 2419, which is very nice for now!

That is a clean set up! Yeah, I will be maxing out the GVWR once I'm all loaded. Plus, like you said, the price on the ATC's is out of control.
