I'm 4 hours from home, I forgot my 2010 rzr s keys :( I'm not close to any town... Can anyone pm me how to hotwire my S? I'm going to miss my entire ride if I don't figure this out.

Please help!

I just went out and looked at mine. There are 4 wires on my switch. 1 green and white,2red,3black and white,4 red. The switch does two things. first power everything up , and second to send power to the starter. 1 of the red wires will power everything and the other should go to the starter. Ther green and white will go to one of the red wires and the black and white to the other. One of the red wires will be 12v power all the time from the battery. You will need to figure out which one is constant power. You can do this by process of elimination. Run a jumper from one of the red wires and touch it to the green/white wire . One of two things will happen. Dash lights come on or starter engages. If neither happens try the same thing using the other red wire . You need to get the dash lights on first which means everything is powerd up. Once you get it to that point then the other red wire will now be hot. Use that red wire to touch to the remaining wire to turn over the starter. Once it starts remove that wire or tape it up so it can't short out. Good luck.

I'm up around Maud Tx, private property. I think I have a test light, I'm going to tackle your directions early at first light in the morning. Thanks for helping, ill buy the beer if I ever get a chance :)

What a bummer! Sounds like Magicman has you going in the right direction. Might ad that when you find your constant it will have to stay tied to what wire keeps it and then the starter wire will have to be touched, that way it will stay running. Then you might tape the Hot Starter Wire to keep it from hitting the starter while your having fun!!

Once I pulled the plug out of the ignition and saw 4 wires... I kept thinking... wow... I had NO idea it would be this simple... I was kinda shocked atually... but... thankfully, I got to ride :D

Maybe I should apply for a patent on that key. LOL Glad it worked out for ya not to mess up your weekend. We just went to barnwell over memorial weekend. Great place to ride, good camping areas. Trails there are fun, you can go fast or climb hard. Let us know next time you plan to head up that way and we'll go with ya.

I was really really really impressed with the Rzr... some of the stuff.. just didnt seem possible for anything to climb... the Rzr did it just fine :ride:
