LOL.. Hell no!! I was ripping a rocky trail as fast as I could, about 35+ with my hair on fire.

 

Haven't seen this one before.. I caught a rock on the inside of my wheel running the Nevada desert last weekend. Wedged in behind the caliper and BAM... Glad I carry a spare.

I have 2 grooves cut in one of my rear wheels from the same thing. Luckily the rock came out before it put a hole in the wheel.

I've seen a few pix of the flats caused by a rock caught between the caliper and the rim, but that's the biggest hole I've seen. I WANNA SEE @T/O PLUG THAT ONE! Need one of them Lock N Ride plugs to start with...?

It happens! This is last fall in Northern WI playing on the Sportsman on rocky trails. Brand new wheels too!

 

What size wheels?
This is typically why people go with 15s but anything is always possible.
If they are 15s, i guess that's what happens when a larger rock gets caught up in there
