Mine would still register 65 mph on the speedometer with 4" portals and 37s. I know that doesn't help any lol. I'd say you could expect probably 55 mph, maybe 60.

 

I've had mine up to 65 with 32" tires. Not sure what the actual speed was. I'm sure the speedo is off with the bigger tires.

 

Gps showed 68mph and that's with 30" rocktanes.

 

Are those speeds pretty much topped out? What RPM?

Had mine over 72 with 30" Mongruls. It has more but is limited by the ecu. You can program and get rid of that.:shhh:

 

I would be happy even with low 70s. Don't ever go that fast when trail riding, but definitely at the dunes.

 

from what ive seen if you had stock xp1k 29" big horns the HL should run around 71-72 mph.

so you can add a couple mph per inch of tire you add. then figure the percentage off from the gear reduction.

Mine is as follows:

71 MPH on asphalt 29" bighorns
68 MPH on asphalt 30" rocktanes

and I hit 64 MPH in semi damp sand with 30" sand strippers before running out of flat.

 

Thanks for the info guys. With the turbo and big bore kit, I have no problem hitting the speed limiter and rev limiter with these 32s ... So I think rpm will be my limiting factor if I did the 12% reduction
