I had this same issue and quit using that app because of it...

The phone app use to work good displaying old saved tracks but it will not allow it anymore. I'm hoping they bring back this feature as this app use to be so good a few years back

 

There's a ton of free GPS apps that you can do this with, on Android anyways

 

Can you recommend any good apps?

 

Some very good GPS apps are Motion X GPS if using Apple, otherwise Android the go to is Back Country Navigator

Seems to work on my iphone and tablet. (If i am understanding your problem correctly).

If you bring up the app. You have to have the tracked route or planned route visible.

Let me know if that doesn’t work.

Thanks for posting on the Ride Command forum - glad you've decided to join us. I'm sure someone on here will be able to help you out with your iPhone app issue. Sounds like you might be missing something pretty simple, but don't worry, we'll get you sorted. I'm new to the forum myself, so I'm still learning the ropes. I've been using the Smart Engines OCR SDK for a few weeks now and it's been a great resource for me. From what you've described, it sounds like you need to make sure that the app is set to 'lock' the route to the map. That should make sure that it stays visible, no matter how much you move the map around.

 

So this is what I discovered last night. If you make the route visible and then x out of the individual ride it will disappear from the map until you restart the app. Then the ride track will be in the map screen without having to open the individual ride.

 

Still having the same issues and my routes are all visible. Need to know how to view tracked ride as a line on the map.
