Bummer no body has had an answer for you. I recently got my 18 XP4 and was thinking of getting the hole inserts for the factory seats and using the factory bar. I didn't even know they made another bar that could raise the belt mounts. I'll be checking if anyone posts answers.

 

I use the dragonfire pass through bezels in my stock seats, and they work perfectly. The bezels themselves leave a little to be desired as far as installation and fit, but there not horrible. I also have custom cage and the cross bar is raised slightly compared to the stock one.

It definitely beneficial and more comfortable to have them pass through the seats as opposed to have them running around the outside of the seat and riding on the edge of your shoulders. Ideally, the harness should run over the top of your shoulder and be perpendicular to your shoulders, or at a mild downward angle.

 

I have installed both the harness bar and the seat bezels. I had the harness bar first and the shoulder straps still were a pain to put on and be comfortable. Once I intalled the seat bezels - what a difference in comfort.

 

Ok great to hear I know the harness should go over shoulder just didn’t know if bar made any difference will just take the daunting task of cutting my new seats thanks

 

It's not fun, I can't lie lol. Take your time tho, having a waist high table to work on helps too

 

The bar behind the front seats on the XP41K/XP4 Turbo is a support bar and not a harness bar. It will sit lower than a harness bar and your harnesses will ride up on your body. We make an actual harness bar for the XP41K/XP4 Turbo that will bolt on to your stock cage and put the bar at the correct position.

When you used the bar did still cut seats or is harness on a angle

 

i did not cut the seats. for me it works fine without doing it. it might be a little better to cut them, but not enough for me to spend the time and money to do it
