mine lines up with about an inch of space between the door and the cap. post a picture of your door on the inside and out. we can help make sure everything is as it should be

 

Mine is the same way real tight a pain in the ass to remove

 

It isn't normally an issue for people, but if it is a big problem, you could swap to a 2008 style gas tank. The fuel inlet is straight up, as opposed to some of the later years where it is at an angle.

I would personally adjust the doors a little til everything is kosher.

 

Mine is very tight as well along with my friends. We all have the 50" trail doors. Is that what you have as well?

 

 

 

That is pretty tight! No issue on UTV Giant doors. Looks like I missed some dirt on the last wash.

Do the UTV Giant doors keep your rig at 50"?

 

My RZR is an S LE, if that matters. I am not familiar with the 50" doors. Mine measures 56" at the widest point. Jake at UTV Giant should be to answer how the doors impact other model's width. Hope that helps

 

Its a PITA on my pro armor doors as well.

Just part of it. I ended up with a fuel caddy with a nozzle. I would think pouring from a jug without a big funnel would be a real problem.

 

I'm not to worried about the pouring process. I will usually have a race gas can or using a pump. I just hate I can't get my cap off. As soon as it warms up I'm going to mess with it.

 

I have pro armor 50" trail doors and have no problem fueling.

 

Would you please post a pic of your door/gas cap? I'd like to compare and see where I can try to adjust.

 

I would love to other than I currently have my full poly cab on. I don't plan on installing the pro armor doors for another month.

 

Yup, hands are getting a bit arthritic, getting to the gas cap with Pro Armor doors was making it even tougher.

So I designed this wrench and cut it from 10 ga steel. Seems to work just great!

I cut the nozzles off my gas cans and only use a "simple siphon" and tygon hose. Sure beats having to hold a gas can, needing a funnel. Just a couple of quick pumps and fuel flows. Just leave my Holz gas can in the Polaris rack all season.

I'm sure you can push out the bottom door frame 1/4'' with the adjustment bracket under the seat and clear just enough the gas cap. I know i have at least 3/4'' adjustment on mine.
If not... it's just alum. tubing, a small dent with a heavy hammer will do it. It in the inside anyway, nobody see that.

 

I've got an 800 S LE. Pro Armor doors. Had the same problem, when I first installed the doors.

Fix:
Open the door so it is perpendicular to the side of the RZR. Lift up on the bottom of the door, this will bend the door frame away from the gas cap.

 

I had to same problem with my gas cap on my 2012 Razor 800 when I put the Pro Armour doors on it. I could not get my gas cap off. I loosen the door enough to get the gas cap off. I ground the notches off the gas cap with my grinder. Tighten the door back up and put my gas cap on. The cap is rounded and I can get my gas cap off now

 

I had the same problem ,but after adjusting the door it was alot better.

 

Anyone have these issues with the Blingstar doors?

 

Like everyone else said I have around 2 inches with my pro armor doors.

 

I had the dealer install them so as soon as I get a chance I'm going to try to adjust them.

 

After adjusting the doors on my xp there is not that much more clearance but it is alot better.

 

I adjusted mine today. I finally got it to where I can spin the cap without hitting. Thanks for all the help guys!

 

I made a fuel door for mine to get at the cover, I used magnets to hold the door closed
