So what are my front bumper options?? I would like somthing like the Polaris pre-runner without the top bar. 2008/11 POLARIS RZR PRE RUNNER FRONT BRUSHGUARD BUMPER | eBay The mounting of these worries me as I've read in this forum. Hitting anything seems to take out the radiator..........not good. I like the Pro-Armor but, it looks a little cumbersome to get the wench line out or maybe would rub at the wrong angle........Polaris RZR 2008-UP Front Bumper (Black)
How about this one? RZR Polaris Rzr front bumper NEW aluminum Silver | eBay I like the way it looks, just worry what it would do on impact.......What do you have, and what do you like?? Please post pics or links..................let me know, thanks.......jim

The only bumper I'm aware of that doesn't mount to the radiator support bracket is the EMP bumper or the Racertech. I just put the EMP on my standard RZR and it's a beefy piece but I haven't got to test it out yet. It's a little more dough than the others but well worth it, damaging one radiator would more than make up for the cost difference.

That's because the 2011's already have something similar, SATV makes something similar and talking to them they said their's and Thunderhawks is a lot like the factory piece and you could replace it with their's but wouldn't make much of a difference. The factory support is there but it isn't much and most likely you would end up having to replace the radiator and the bumper support after a good impact.

I can't speak to how the Racertech that mounts behind the radiator mounts up but the EMP has a large cross brace that mounts to the frame behind the radiator and fan and has two side brackets that tie it to the front bumper and then another bracket that goes from the bumper down to the factory winch mount location. It's a very beefy mounting system, you would have to hit something pretty hard to do damage and even then your radiator won't be affected so you would be able to make it home.

Here's links to the Racertech and EMP bumpers.

Holz or UTVINC both make bumpers that attach to the FRAME for front end & radiator protection not to the radiator support bracket, which eliminates the need for another brace like the thunderhawk...

The Holz bumper starts at $475.00 + shipping...

The UTVINC bumper starts at $334.95 + shipping...
