Front and rear camera suggestions

We live and ride where there are many trails where you really need to be able to see in front going over hills and also where there are very tight turnarounds on narrow trails with big drop offs. I did a search on this forum concerning camera systems and many threads are out of date.

We don't have ride command and also don't want to spend hundreds of dollars on the fancy systems. I have an extra ipad mini that can be repurposed. I've looked at various cameras on Amazon both wifi and bluetooth. It seems that using the ipad two switch between cameras is a pain. I suspect I may need to buy a small screen instead. Would like suggestions on that as well. Wouldn't mind using a hardwired system if that is the best solution.

Quite a few options out depending on how much you want to spend.
I had to replace my rv rear view camera and didn't want to spend $1000
I bought a wired system that would handle 2 cameras. It was less than $50 at the time. I put 1 camera on back of rv and the other camera inside the trailer.
Now they have wireless systems that can handle up to 4 cameras
Look into dash cams too. They have front and rear cameras and you can view them on your phone

I have front and rear cameras. They are somewhat helpful. I have only found one brand that was clean enough to actually be of any use. Polaris is not too helpful because the resolution is poor. I tried Taddi Brothers and their resolution was poor also. I now have Brandmotion and its the best yet. The problem is getting the camera mounted where you can get the proper angle.

I just did a rear camera setup on my RZR cheap using my Ipad that I have setup for GPS, tunes and now back up camera screen. I used a Bluetooth camera that I bought off Amazon for my enclosed trailer that never got install (sold the trailer). I was bored today so I made a mounting bracket for camera to sit off my spear tire rack.

Mounts in the location already cut out for camera, super easy install. I don't use fruit phones but my $90 android tablet does split screen so you should be monitor 2. Comes with a signal booster but it's not necessary in a 2 Seater. I didn't use it.

Use this plug to wire camera into tail lights. I personally don't see much need for front camera.
This is a great find. I spliced my camera in manually but this would have been worth it for the price. Good idea to add a fuse when using this splitter so if there's a camera issue it doesn't take out your lights or the factory fuse for them.

Just bought a Type S license plate frame camera. Was going to make my own bracket to mount. I liked that it had a separate button that would start the app on my tablet without having to do anything else. However, the app wanted all my personal info and access to everything on the tablet so I boxed it up and returned it.
