Interested as well....
$1595 for the turbo shocks w/ shipping

Yes how does this compare to shock therapy RIS re-valve and spring kit ($2100+ shipping)? That's $600 - $700 less when you factor in shipping plus the Fox upgrade gives both dual speed compression adjustment. What are the spring rates used in both kits and lengths? I have a XP4 turbo I assume Fox does a kit for the 4 seat turbo. Anyone done it? I'm looking for a comparison with Shock Therapy RIS.

I have the Fox upgraded spring kit. All 8 springs, crossovers, and other required pieces. I LOVE them. I haven't started valving yet but I am very happy with the upgraded parts from Fox. Let me know if you want part numbers. I paid $1,020 for everything, which is a steal and far cheaper than ST sells theirs for.

Logically I see your point and I agree that does make sense. However I contacted Fox today spoke with Ben nice guy gave me some info sounds like on the two-seat turbo car they are running 12 inch lowers and 12 inch uppers however I contacted Fox today spoke with Ben (nice guy) and he gave me some info. For the xpt 2 seat car they are running on the rear 3.0s 12 inch lowers and 12 inch uppers (250/200) and up front on the 2.5s 12 inch lowers and 6 inch uppers (350/250). I did like that fox does add both slow speed and high speed compression adjustment. They offer more aggressive riding style internal shock body valving. Fox is currently still tuning their 2016 xp4 turbo kit as its not yet available.

I'm waiting for a call back from Ernie from Shock Therapy to discuss how the kits compare. I believe The biggest difference is the the fact that shock therapy uses custom springs. This may give them a leg up on tuning. I also think the custom springs ST uses adds the additional cost. ST kits is already available and proven.

Call up Ernie at shock therapy and ask him.
I'll bring my sled up next week and ride some, then I can haul your car down to shock therapy.
I went back and forth over this too, even pushed the first appointment with shock therapy for my xpt4.
I would love to do that but I wont have mine for two more weeks!

This is interesting. $1,595 isn't bad compared to $2,100 for shock therapy.

I loved my shock therapy setup on my 1000. Wonder if they will do it for the 4 seaters.

And I wonder if they use different springs based on the load in your RZR like shock therapy.

I'm sure this Fox upgrade helps a lot, but it seems like it would be a whole different animal than what Shock Therapy offers. The problem with our XPT's suspension now is that it is a generic set up, that isn't that close to perfect. And for some reason the Fox internal bypass shocks on my XPT aren't nearly as good as the same Fox internal bypass shocks were on my XP1K Fox Edition that I just sold.

The Fox upgrade is still going to be a generic set up, but with "more aggressive riding style internal shock body valving", true dual rate springs, and more compression adjustability choices.

The Shock Therapy RIS is customized for what you want, with your machine weight, driver & passenger weights, driving style, and terrain factored into the equation to get you what may be the closest dialed in suspension you can get. And it is combined with front and rear sway bars that are tuned to work with the suspension. Totally different animal if you ask me.

Hi guys.
There are quite a lot of differences between the kits actually, but there are really too many details to discuss here. As an overview their kit is a big improvement over stock for sure and worth every penny. It tends to be on the stiffer side in the chop and small whoops than our standard set up. The dual stage compression adjuster is nice but the addition of the low speed adjuster restricts some of the flow through the bridge and this is part of the reason for the stiffness in some areas. This is absolutely NOT a negative for some people and every one we installed gave us happy customers. Great upgrade to the factory set up.
Our kit has all of the same parts to speak of but we have a lot more machine work and internal tweaks to do compared to the Fox kit. Our standard kit will be more plush in the chop and whoops than the Fox but not sacrifice the bump stage resistance. Although we can install the adjuster if someone would like, we don't typically switch to the dual compression adjuster for two reasons. One, we want to keep the flow very high for maximum smooth/plush feeling in the small and medium hits. Two, because we don't see a big need for low speed adjustment in desert, dunes, trail set ups. Tightening the low speed adjuster will bring in the small chop and chatter right away and in most of these areas you just don't want to feel that stuff. Where it is a huge help is in short course racing where stiff is best and ride quality is not a concern. When it comes to springs, we have our own made. In a pinch we will use Eibach for a special rate or if we are out or stock for some reason, but they typically stock 100-300 of each spring in their U.S. warehouse and that isn't enough for us. I think that even though our kit is more money, we have more cost in our springs and more labor on the internals, the biggest difference between the kits is that ours isn't one set up specifically. We tailor our spring rates, valving, pistons, adjusters to fit what you want and need. Sure we have a baseline set up but it is pretty rare that we run that. It is always tweaked to fit your driving style and terrain.
Keep in mind that we work with Fox Racing division and Fox Powersports division on a daily basis and have an amazing relationship with them. We stock their upgrade kit and install it here as well. The pricing is the same so if you would like the Fox kit and their timing is a bit too far out for you we can install it for you too. No matter which one you choose you will be very happy. They both are not a small but a huge improvement to your car. I hope this helps a bit.

Just spoke to Justin from Shock Therapy and I have to say I'm back to 100% confidence in these guys. I will be sending my shocks to them. He even said the Fox upgrade is great and you would be happy but in discussing everything they simply have some advantages and more goes into there kit in terms of tuning/labor which leads to a kit that you simply drive the car and it's perfect. I'll know soon enough. Have to say call these guys before you decide as it's worth the phone call. If you want the best call ST.

I ran over 1000 miles stock before the ST work, plenty broke in.
Over 2000 miles on the car now.
My riding buddy has the same xpt4 with stock suspension, we trade off cars.
He cries a little when he gets back in his.
The stock suspension beats you up in the chop.
I pass him like he's standing still in the whoops at olds.
If you think the stock suspension is great that's fine, but it can be way better.

You're right, it does depend on what machine you came from before owning the XPT. You came from a 900 XP, so the XPT suspension feels great. I came from a XP1K Fox Edition, which had better valving in the Fox internal bypass shocks than the XPT does. My first thought when driving the XPT was that the suspension wasn't so great.

And you're also right about it depending on what you're using the machine for. I started racing some local desert races in the XP1K Fox Edition, and finished third in my last race, even though I was the only stock machine in the race. Two areas where I was being beat was in power, because the turbo machines were running away from me on the straights, and in suspension, because the modified machines I was racing against were also beating me in the rough chop. I had such a fun time racing though, that I decided to start upgrading my machine instead of racing it stock. My first upgrade was a turbo (as in a new XPT). I now realize the XPT can use some help in the suspension department. There are too many other upgrades on the list first though, like skid plates, cage, seats, harnesses, tires, beadlocks, bumper, etc. I'll probably end up racing the first race or two with stock suspension, but a shock therapy upgrade is certainly on my list of wanted items.

The only suspension you know is the best suspension you know! From quads to sxs's, tires and suspension make the biggest difference imo. People generally don't know how much better things can be unless you try it or ride another vehicle with some work done. I remember when I out Elkas on a quad...wow...night and day different...I could carry a lot more speed through rough stuff...like 15mph more. Recently did shock work on my 1000s and it is night and day from stock as well...so much more plush over small chatter (rocks and roots) and handles high speed stuff better as well

Unless you have driven or at least rode in an off road vehicle with proper spring rates and real by pass shocks, you have no idea how horrific the stock XPT suspension is. I have a couple of larger desert cars, one with 3" fox bypasses and the other with King 4.0 bypasses. Both have just a little over 20" of travel and they ride like Cadillacs. Only Polaris could screw 18" of travel up this bad. I have the full shock package but with stock sway bars from Shock Therapy on my 2016 XPT. The comfort factor went from a 3 to a 10. Just the spring kit from fox will be huge. Best money you will ever spend on yourself.

I'm racing short corse with the factory XPT fox shocks. They were way to soft to begin with. I replaced the springs with the fox upgraded springs and they were still to soft. I then changed the springs again for stiffer ones and had them revalved by shock therapy and they are 10 times better. By pass shocks aren't the best thing for short corse racing but at least I haven't had to go and buy new shocks.

OK so I finally got a tracking number on the box program at this point I've already been waiting two full weeks had my shocks off the whole time and it looks like they will not be here for another week that's a total of three weeks after I emailed and filled out the request form online I am not very happy and their customer relations seem like crap so far the first day I filled out their request form online they contacted me via email and told me they would call me within 24 hours while they did not every 24 hours therefore after they called me with a number and hung up I called that number back and the message said if you got a call from this number we will give you a call back in another 24 hours that happen for the first four days or so after I submitted my request this is seriously a joke I know Fox makes a good product but they really need to work on the other side of things not sure what I'm going to do

Mine were same day turn around. You set up an appointment date to have the work done. They start on your shocks the day you are scheduled for, and ship them out the same evening.
