These are neat lookin trailers, a buddy has one and he loves it.

 

you gonna have to get a goose neck trailer at least 20 ft...3 rzrs is a good bit of weight for a 1/2 ton 1500 chevy, ford, or dodge..

 

How do ya figure? 3x RZR's at 1000lbs, maybe 500 for an ATV, plus the trailer. It might not be the fastest rig on the road but is by no means gonna over load it. I'm not against weight distribution or air bags if necessary.

 

Don't forget to ad some fluids to those rzr's then some gear to them. You'll have a full load for sure pulling 3 of them.

 

I have a 20' ALUMA trailer it's 8'6" wide and will fit a rzr sideways easy Ive done it a few times. Also I haul my rzr4 and an XP no problem. The trailer it's self weighs 900 lbs and has a gvw of 7000 and electric brakes on both axles.

I'm 2250 lbs or so. Steel w/ really thick steel fenders, boxes and daily straps.

only 3500 lb axles but both brakes work. if the trailer starts to sway for whatever reason I pulse the controller and it straightens out. Also slows the tow vehicle a little. Or alot if i hit the brakes hard.

That's a good size and low(er) weight to boot.

I've got a 7x16' landscape trailer that I use.
I've also got a 6x24' equipment trailer that I use.
The 6' is just wide enough to get one on sideways.

I pull the 7x16 with a Volvo XC90.
It's slow but it works just fine.
The 6x24 I use with the F350s.
They don't have a problem pulling anything.

 

You won't have a problem pulling a 20' open steel deck trailer and 3 rzr's with a half ton truck. Probably be around 6,000 lbs. loaded. Sure, you will know it is back there, but any modern half ton will not have a problem with that. You could use a 8.5x20 trailer and put them on sideways, should be able to pick one for less than $2,500. get brakes on both axles and use a good controller (Prodigy).

 

I guess it might depend on the 1/2 ton. I pull a 24' +2' Vnose with Two RZRs in the trailer plus its got a kitchen,bath and camping gear. The trailer alone weighs 3800-4k. I'm sure loaded I'm around 7k. My Tundra has NP pulling it. I would think a 20'x8.5 open trailer with three RZRs wouldn't be bad at all. Probably around 5k

 

I would say check out maxey trailers. Not sure if they sale them in your area or not. At the time I had them build mine they only made a short version. I think every since I ordeed mine they now make it as a model you can order. I can tell you I have had no issues with it at all. Great trailer!

Mine is 20 feet long becasue I am hauling 3 full size rzr and one youth on it. The only item I sent the trailer back for was for them to weld in square tube between the fram and the axle as for the tires were to close to the finder for me......they did it and did not charge me a dime.

Well I have a diesel excursion and an f350 but the trailer handels great.

 

How wide is your trailer? Any photos from the back with the RZR's sideways?
