EVP ECU reflash

Has anyone done this upgrade? Looking into it and it seems to be a relatively inexpensive way to get a decent power increase. I’m thinking the reflash and the blow off valve. I already have a S&B particle separator so I don’t need the charge tube. Would I need a clutch upgrade also?

I have not done this specific upgrade, but the question I have for you is, what is your end goal?

No, I would NOT recommend you get that tune, you have done none of the upgrades to the motor to take advantage of the EV Stage 2 tune. This is for a non-stock motor and bare minimum upgrades I would suggest with this kind of tune is replacing the stock charge tube and a clutch kit.
  • With increase in power you need to be able to control and deliver that power to the ground, ie clutch kit.
  • The stage 2 tune will increase your boost. The stock plastic tube already has issues with the 14psi that is stock, pushing 19psi youre going to find yourself on the side of the trail!

The upgrades you have now do nothing performance wise. The S&B increases filter longevity (no performance gain), and the BOV fixes a leak issue that stock has.

If you want to reflash your ECU for increased efficiency with a STOCK motor, I would suggest Bikeman Performance they have a tune just for this.

I meant the intake tube, not charge tube. I realize I need the charge tube and intake tube(air box to turbo), I was asking if a clutch kit is also recommended. I’d also do the blow off valve while replacing everything else and wonder what else I’d need to do. If a $500 reflash and a charge/intake tube($180 each) is enough or how much more money am I looking at sinking into it. I’m not opposed to doing the clutch kit also, I’m just trying to stay budget conscious while adding a little power to the car.

Hello. My name is Timur, I'm from Ukraine. I've been engaged in car chip tuning for many years. I bought a buggy for myself and I want to make a good, correct chip tuning. I have a device for chip tuning Flex (Magicmotorsport), I read the factory file. Can I send it to you so that you can do tuning? Thank you for your reply.
