error code 25

I have a 2008 RZR with an UMP filter, bored out throttle body and manifold, and a power commander installed. I have been having problems with it idling fast (2700-3000) and thought I had finally figured that out. The rubber section of the manifold had a crack/tear in it. I replaced that and thought I had it solved. The engine was back to idling at what it used to, around 1200.
I put it all back together and test drove it a bit, then I was losing power and it began to run a little rough kind of wanting to stall. I checked the diagnostic codes and am getting an error code 25. I did take the TPS off while I was trying to figure out what was wrong before (not realizing at the time that it's calibrated). Could that have anything to do with it? It had been marked where it was set to before I took it off so I reinstalled it in the same place. The error code in the manual says it's "transmission input, invalid gear" I haven't had a chance to research that yet. I disconnected the power commander to see if that made any change, it didn't. Any ideas.

You probably do need to calibrate your TPS now. They are very touchy when it comes to the adjustment. This has nothing to do with your code 25 issue. The code 25 will go away after unhooking the battery for a few minutes. I think that code gets entered whenever you don't have it all the way in park, and start the engine and the check engine light comes on, then if you put it all the way in park, when the gear selector switch makes up the check engine light goes away, but the code is in memory.

I have personally never done it, but a few on here have, which is where I heard about it being very sensitive on the adjustment. I know Cliff (Tuf-Skin) has done it, PM him. The other option is have a Poo dealer do it for you. You can just bring the throttle body in to have it done & save on labor charges.

Thanks, I have the stock throttle body still, I kept it and paid the core charge when I got the bored out one. I was going to try reinstalling that tomorrow if I get some time and see if that works to get it running again. Then I can deal with getting the other one calibrated. I use my RZR every day on the job site. I appreciate all your help.

You can probe the two wires on the drive side of the plug coming off the sensor with two long needles. After you do this find a 9 volt battery and plug it in under the dash (you will see the plug under there). Once you have done this you are going to need help from someone. Turn the key on and using a voltage meter to set the tps to .738 volts. You adjust the voltage by losening the tps and moving it left or right. It is very touchy so go slow. Once you have the correct voltage tighten it back up and take the battery out from under the dash. I put a little vasaline where I probed the wires just for some protection also a little black tape. Hope this helps!!!
