Will a:sad: 2006 Polaris sportsman 800 efi engine mount to a 2009 Polaris Rzr frame?
Loaned it out to family member and he ran the Rzr with only 1/2 qrt of oil and the engine didn't much like it.
Busted cam shaft, piston rod, piston, cylinder and multiple little pieces of metal inside motor case.
Not very much left in good condition to get rebuilt.

Yes -- The '06 Sportsman 800 will bolt in. I know as I got sold a Sportsman engine instead of a 800 RzR engine. Internally - They are both the same.

There is one difference between both engines though -- And that is the oil drain location. You will either have to remove the skid to change the oil or -- Use a hole saw and cut a new hole in the skid to get to the oil drain plug.
