Just curious....Why would you want a dual battery setup?

 

Prefer a sep battery to power my accessories (audio, gps, etc) and would like to add an additional charging port for cell phone/ipad

 

So still on the hunt for someone that has done this to their RS1 or knows where I can get an aftermarket battery box that would accommodate. I was hopeful by deeming out some of the side plastic clips I would be able to squeeze two next to each other but no such luck.

 

You sure you don’t wanna just put one big good quality battery in?.

 

Any specific battery you would recommend in that case?

 

I added a second battery and it's a small lithium battery but it packs a punch because I tried to use my winch to pull a tree on my 4,000 SUPERWINCH and it snapped the cable and it was new.
Before the lithium battery the engine would die at idle.

 

Have any pics you can show? Only have your winch hooked up to it?
