Does the S 1000 have front diff vibration?

I have not experienced this in my 1000 miles ive put on the s 1000. I will say that when the awd is engaged there is a very VERY minor feedback on the gas pedal. If I let someone who wasn't familiar with the machine drive it they would never notice, its that insignificant. When the AWD isnt engaged the feedback doesnt exist. ITs very slight however.

My razr 1000s was delivered about a month ago. It had the noisiest and clackety sounding front diff I have ever heard.... Took it back to the dealer after only 5 hours of service. Just got it back and its very quiet and virtually no vibration now. They opened a ticket with Polaris and were sent a brand new front diff. Some of these front diffs make extremely loud grinding clacking noises from day one... Has to be a better way to quality control these units before shipment..

Just traded my 900 S with 3400 miles for 1000 S last Friday. only have 120 miles so far but what a difference, I guess my shocks slowly worn out the ride is way better no vibration in 4 WD at all. The clutching is awesome, smooth at easy take off forward and reverse inching it around the garage. First MPG check 15 MPG, 90 miles and 1/2 tank. A lot of power and it is lot quieter muffler and any other drive tran noise in the cab than the 900 S.

For the current owners out there, does the S 1000 have the same front diff vibration that has plagued the XP 1000? Supposedly, the S 1000 has the same size diff as the XP, diff model # 1333344. Curious if this issue is affecting the new S 1000 as well.

I also only notice a slight vibration when in awd, but is nothing that concerns me. Nothing while in 2wd that I have noticed.

Same here. When awd u can feel a difference in the gas pedal

The front diffs are one part of the drivetrain that causes noise the other is the stock carrier bearing, the bearing is rubber isolated and allows too much movement when vehicle is being driven. Sandcraft RCR makes a upgraded Carrier Bearing the moves the driveline and corrects the operating angle so the driveline can be in phase this takes away all the vibration n noise chatter everyone complains about. Watch video it further explains we just came out with our GEN2 as well.

The upgraded carrier from sandcraft doesn't alleviate all of the noise, I did mine and the noise if still quite loud coming from the front diff in awd. But they now make a bearing kit to fix the front diffs....

I've had several RZRs before, but this new 1000s is the noisest I've ever driven. From about 20-25 mph it sounds like a can of marbles rattling. I checked for loose items and rocks on skid plate, etc. but cannot find anything loose. Is this the diff noise you are talking about?

Any updates on this issue? Picked up mine last Friday and that noise has been there from the first time I hit 30-35 mph. My buddies 900s is nice and quiet. I'll check with the dealer tomorrow and see what they have to say about it too.

Add me to the list....2017 1000S and front differential noise. A lot of metal on metal noise like two pieces rattling together. Seems to be present in or out of 4x4. Don't know about at higher speeds because engine noise and wind would cover it up.
Dealer said that Polaris was approving a shim kit for some of the 1000 XP's and took pics to submit to Polaris to find out how to proceed. Pics make no sense to me unless they are looking for collision damage.

Update: The Polaris dealer in St George Ut is a joke. After several weeks of BS and promises broken I towed my RZR 600 miles to the selling dealer Carl's Cycle, Boise, ID. At first they couldn't hear the noise so I played footage from my GoPro. They have a first class service department and checked my front differential and transmission. They finally found that the rear brakes were adjusted improperly from the factory letting the brake rattle against the housing. Subsequently they also found their demo and another customers 2017-1000 S with the same issue. Once adjusted the rattle went away.
I have a 2016 GMC truck and can honestly say that the service at Carl's is far better than at Idaho's Largest auto dealer.

Mine doesn't have the metal rattle, but does have a vibration at 25- 35. Feels more shaft than front diff. I could be wrong though. Have had a chance to check it yet. Sucks to spend the money and have this from the first day!

I have only ridden my 1000 a couple of times but felt the brakes were a little weak compared to my 900. I think I will check the rear brakes out to see if they are adjusted properly. I have no front dif noise compared to what you find on the 900s 4 seaters.

Good idea, the rattle seemed to get worse as I put on the mikes....have 400 on mine after a week in Moab. With a helmet and the engine noise the rattle isn't that noticeable. After I first noticed it I could hold my head out past the door and it was very obvious. My brakes are very good but comparing them to a 2011 800S.

Mine doesn't rattle, but I do feel a vibration/feedback in the throttle when in AWD. Mostly while in the sand and medium throttle. I'm not sure yet if it's the diff or the driveline/carrier.

I drove my 1000s a little yesterday and it is getting the front dif noise. It is real similar to the one I had in my 900 s 4 seater. I had the dealer move the washer on the front dif to the other side of the bearing on the 900 and eliminated about 80% of the noise.
