Well documented problem, especially from parts of the country with high humidity, etc.

Since you apparently were a short term U-boat commander, your seat foam is probably full of stinky water, I would bet you will have to take off the cover at the bottom and expose the foam to the great outdoors, providing it is not raining.

Some here have taken further steps to try and seal off these seats, maybe in your case just keeping it above the high water mark may be all you need.

Mine was doing that and i just took them out, put a rag down and put some weights on them and set them in the sun, the weight helped squeeze the water trapped in them out and helped dry them quicker. Now i dont even leave them in when i wash it. They get a seperate wipe down with soapy warm water and rag so they sont get drinched. Hopefully this helps man.

the rzr is garage kept so its inside..

and the seats you couldn't leave outside during the day in the backyard ?

Have you tried putting them in front of a fan if you don't feel comfortable leaving them outside ?

 

Make some holes using a drill in the bottom plastic, that will allow air in and water to drain. you will need to drill the base, the bottom of the seat, and a plastic piece between the seat base and the foam that you cant see..

 

I had them.outside for almost a full day and it didnt work

The only way I know to dry out those seats after making the brutally idiotic mistake of sinking them in scum water is to throw them into a fire and buy new ones.

 

I would try the fan on it for a few days and maybe put them in a closet or small bathroom with a dehumidifier for a few days and see if that will take the moisture out. Just a crazy idea but who knows!

 

well this was high flowing water that the rzr got stuck in and it must of rushed up inside the seat pretty good because that was 3 months ago

 

Drill some small holes in the bottom. Worked for me. Used a 1/4" bit. Just don't use much force or you might go through the cover!!

 

All winter both my seats were in the house with 100lbs on them and still, I went for the first ride of the year and my a$$ got wet. Good luck!

Try the Apex seat from UTVGiant.

 

Get a set of PRP GT seats....they have a big mesh water drain in the butt area.
They are a super nice seat!

My first ride my butt got wet due to the rzr being recently washed. We plan to go on a ride Saturday so I will see if its still wet. This time I took the seats out and took a rag and wiped the dirt off instead.
