You don't like the ride command camera?

 

Guess I forgot I could use this while in motion and not just for backing up! haha. You ever flip your rear camera on for this use?

 

Welp, that is a hellova lot cheaper than my option haha. Little clunky having to flip back and forth between display views but I'll try it next time I go for a ride.

 

Yea. I think I read that someone else on here leaves his reverse camera on all the time. I think if you go over a certain speed for a certain amount of time the front camera will switch off, but I'm pretty sure the reverse one will stay on.

 

Losing all the rest of the information displayed on Ride Command to get a rear view mirror seems a bit silly. It's fine for backing up, but no way I'd keep it on all the time.

 

I flip over to the rear camera when I am waiting for my buddies to catch up or keeping an eye on them trying to go over an obstacle or something. Polaris used to make a backup camera rear view mirror called the "Polaris Total Vision Mirror with backup camera" but I think it has been discontinued for the RZR line.

 

If you have steering wheel buttons (Ultimate Trim) you can program the "Polaris Button" to activate the rear camera.

Great idea. I just looked at the main manual and it says to look at the Ride Command manual which only deals with the Ride Command screen itself. What am I missing?

Wish there was a way to get rid of the nonsense on top of the screen when using the front camera. Whatever it says. Don’t use while driving, or objects closer than they appear. It blocks what I need to see. Ironic. Not sure if it has the same nonsense for the reverse camera. Can’t remember.

 

This x1000. I know legally they probably have to put it there but it drives me nuts

 

I would love to have a similar fastback cage built for my Pro Ultimate. Can you share some additional photos of your build? Thanks in advance!!!

 

Cage comes in mid February and then goes to powder so I'm guessing I'll have it all installed by EOM March 😩 - One things they don't tell you when you start a build is how much patience you need. I've been waiting for parts and spot on the rack since November.
