Anyone had this problem or anything similar? I was out riding in some snow and the left wheel didn't spin once, just my right front.

there is not anything in the hub to brake but you could brake an axle if your boot is not twisted up than it is proble not but you can jack up the front side that will not work spin the front wheel and try to stop the axle where it goes in to the front def and see but i have not seen anyone to brake a front axle but i have seen alot of rear axles broke

Sorry ,but your wrong. The front hub can crack behind the splines of the front axle .This will allow the axle to turn as normal and the hub will spin at the crack thus not allowing the power to transmit to the outside of the hub and wheel.
This is a rare but well known fact that has happened to my machine and several others....If it made a loud crack it could be the hub.

Just replaced my drivers front hub. Broke it cause the bearings had gone out and allowed the castle nut to back off and when the wheel fell off it broke the hub.

It does sound like he could have a busted cv. Problems Problems... I hate problems. I also hate it when people say "Gotta pay to play" That doesn't make me feel even a bit better.

Yeah...but people are completely UNREALISTIC! They think they can buy these machines, and do completely crazy and abusive maneuvers and nothing will break. FALSE.

Look..I've been around rock crawling since 1979....even in "BULLET PROOF" rigs....shit breaks. Model 44's...breaks...put in model 60's...model 60's break...putting in Rockwells.....drive shafts break...u joints...axles...the list goes ON and ON. The bottomline, if you abuse, and I say abuse as in pushing the vehicle to it's maximum....things will break. No matter the vehicle.

My guess would also be the hub... thats what I would check 1st...:greenrzr:

you still can check by jacking up the bad side and spining the wheel with one hand and try to stop the axle at the def with the other one and yes i broke about 5 front hubs before getting billet ones but if you brake a hub usely your wheel is flopping around if you brake off your spins part over your hub there is nothing left in the bearing to hold your wheel on straight
