Not for my RZR, but the kids Outlaw 110. Although it could be interchanged for discussion sake.

I bought a 2018 Outlaw 110 at the end of August, this year, for the kids from a friend. He purchased new and claims to have had all services done at the dealer.

Today was the day for all maintenance on my off road stuff. It was the Outlaws turn.

When I got to draining the transmission oil, I noticed it wasn't the typical purple AGL oil. It was more clear. Also had that Demand Drive smell.

My question is, should I be concerned? Could this have caused issues for the transmission?

I have noticed nothing that would bring on alarm bells.

And lastly, this is why I service my own vehicles!

The dealer messed up. No surprises there.
Both bottles are purple so someone didn't read.
The trans isn't high tech so it had lubricant.
Some guys mistakenly drain the trans instead of motor and have run it dry and no problems.

Not knowing what fluid was in there for sure, but as long as everything appears ok, drain plug magnet is fairly clean, you're good and no concern. Just dont fill it back up with DDF thinking its ok now, DDF is way too lite!

No, I refilled with AGL.

It's been ridden since I did the service. Nothing seems off. No weird noises etc.

I agree it's a low tech transmission. So far so good.

Shit happens. Just be aware. Hopefully if you're getting service at the dealership, you trust your tech.
