Chris from Corbin Customs called me. They have a newer model coming out in a couple weeks. Instead of having to install a micro contact switch on the shifter, the new design will plug inline into the transmission position sensor. He asked which one I wanted. I told him I’d wait for the new design. I’ll update when I get it installed.

You won't go wrong with anything Corbin makes. I have had their turn signal kit on both my XP ride command and now the Turbo S. He also made me a couple jumpers so I could easily connect my chase light so the brake and turn signals work. The only upgrades to his kit that I would like to see are the fang lights that change color and are used for turn signals. I also like the turn signal stalk type of switch on the steering column better than a switch in the dash.

I installed their turn signal/hazard flasher set a couple of months ago. Discovered during a ride this AM that the turn signals no longer work, although the hazard is working. Have done a couple of hours of looking for the problem, testing wiring//switches/terminals, searching for crushed wires, etc.

Will call Corbin in Monday morning. Hope they will come thru - this is too expensive of an accessory ($300) to last only 3 months.

UPDATE: Chris @ Corbin diagnosed my problem as a possible bad control module. Replacement control module arrived 24hrs later. Installed it and all works like new. Big tip of the hat to Chris!!

Think I'm going this route. It's not like you need to see 100' behind you backing up. As long as the general area gets lit, it should be fine. Added bonus is the auto turn on in reverse so other riders know you are planning on backing up. Opting for the override switch as well.

I finally installed the light. It’s a great quality piece. The unit looks like it belongs there from the factory. It’s fairly easy to install. It took approximately 20 minutes. I wanted to let you know how it illuminates on the trail so that’s why it took so long to post. With that said, I am happy with the overall output. It casts a dispersed light for a overall area effect that is useful for up to 10 feet. It’s definitely very bright to look directly at it.
