My son had the RZR and seen the coolant lvl was a little low. He put a little Zerex asian 50/50 EG hoat non silicate/borate coolant in it. I know that mixing coolants can mess up a engine/cooling system or gel up and am hoping that it will be ok since they are both ethylene glycol. It hasnt gelled up and I was wondering if anybody knows if it will or not...

Read this article.

DexCool at one time would thicken if mixed with the wrong coolant. Those days are gone. Almost all coolants now days are silicate free. Most coolants now days can be mixed. When topping you can use distilled water or the same coolant and if nothing elements is available use a different brand.
A 50/50 mix is usually best due to its thermal absorption properties. Evans waterless coolant should not be used as it carries a 20-30F heat penalty and can not be mixed with other coolants with water. Evans is used only for very special applications. Could pants fr M MFGs have coloration for identification. Read the article below.
There are many articles on coolants.
