Whole story, had service at dealer, new air filter, rode Ocala national forest, checked air box had a little sand in it. Changed to Uni filter and went to durhamtown and adventure world for a few days. Machine developed an odd noise so when I got back took it to dealer and requested a compression test and fix whatever is wrong. Replaced front prop shaft under extended warrenty, also 8 bushing on A-arms. Compression test showed 90 lbs, specs say ok if between 80-120, will take in and have retested in 14 hours before trip to HM. I know nothing about compression so I don't know if thats a sign its going bad or if it could be normal. Any comments from you guys that know something about this? I realize it is in specs but it is on the low end.

Keep an eye on oil level. Recent poster got dirt/sand in airbox/top end, ruined piston rings, it ate all the oil without smoking (synthetic doesn't smoke, apparently) and froze the engine out on the trail.
The 570 has a decompression assembly and will show lower values on a compression test than most are used to seeing. A more definitive answer would be found with a leak down test....

I have a 09 RZR 800 that drinks oïl a lot. I checked the compression yesterday and the result is 150 on one side and 180 on the other. There's no oïl leak on the engine and does not seem to smoke. Don't know what's wrong. Could someone help me with this issue. Someone told me it could be a valve that's too tight and need to be ajust, is it possible? Thanks.
My 570 tested at a 110 after I found dirt in the airbox. The gauge I had to borrow wouldn't hold pressure, so no leak down test though.
From what I've read just on this forum, there's no guarantee just changing to a UNI filter will solve all your dusting problems.
