I checked the diffs today; the front was pretty milky. I changed it out, went for a rip and no prob. Restarted later to pull in the garage and now have this code.

Check for the zip tie. Polaris has had several TSB's from factory zipties being too tight and pinching the wires. The TBAP sensor on the 800 all had this same problem. Look at the last post in this thread.

So here's my theory on my 14' 1000. My 4wd switch light(orange) works intermittently. When I start with it on every third or fourth start triggers code. When I start with it off it doesn't seem to throw the code even after several starts and stops. I think the switch might be bad and throws the code. The 4wd icon is always lit up whether or not the orange light comes on. I've traced the wires back and can't seem to find the short. So I think it's a bad switch and I need to source another to confirm problem. I guess it could be in the diff too but I haven't noticed anything wrong with function at this point.

I ended up pulling the switch apart and found the contact was installed backwards. This created slop with the contact I believe. I flipped it around and never threw the code again and the orange light lit up 100% of the time it was switched.

I have a 2017 ranger 900xp and my check engine light came on and code is 520207 with a 5 under it anyone know where I can start to figure out the problem?? It does not run any different that I can tell
