Yep, crank broke taking out the clutch. This is a new one 🤷‍♂️

 

Year? Model? Miles? Modifications?

Did you happen to put the primary clutch bolt on with an impact? I see one of the 3 bolts that hold the inner clutch cover to the engine behind the primary is missing too. I sense some shade tree shenanigans.

Yep OP made the post and has not logged on since. If he had any interest in finding the real cause he would have followed up. Instead he just wanted to vent and blame Polaris for something that was most likely self induced.

Time after time we see this scenario and some wonder why I'm suspicious of such post 🤷

Maybe I should blame the dog for having to spend $1800 on two new unit bearings for the U4 buggy. Wonder if the wife will buy it 🤔

 

Looks like someone didn't torque the bolt properly.
