What is everyone doing on the break in with the new turbo, I pick mine up tomorrow and not sure if I should put the pedal to the floor right away or gradually work into it?

I took it easy for the first 3 hours with 3 Heat cycles. After that I was riding it like I stole it hitting WOT. First oil change at 10hrs, 2nd at 20hrs, and a full service at 30hrs (diff's, trans fluid, tune up etc). Fluids are cheap, stick with the Polaris Fluids during the warranty period this way that can't deny a claim if failure happens.. Dump the oil 3 times every 10hrs, freeing the motor of any garbage that may be floating around after break in period.

What I mean is I change the oil more than what Polaris recommends. Oil is relatively cheap and this way you know that no metal shavings or garbage is in the motor when it's brand new.

So the 1st oil change at 10hrs,
2nd oil change at 20hrs
And the 3rd oil change at 30hrs including doing the Diff's, Trans, etc...
After that is back to the normal every 50 hrs if you choose..

Not sure if this turbo is water cooled. In any case it is good practice to idle the engine a minute or two to cool off the turbo. If you shut it down right away especially after a hot run the oil cooks in the bearings and over time causes deposits that destroy the bearings.
