People always say that. But I wouldnt' want to spend 400+ dollars to pull a 900 dollar frame.. IMO I'd replace it if you can't get your money back.. Did the bill of sale he wrote you say as is?

I think the reason people always say this is because in this day and age, if you can save yourself $500 it is a big deal for some of us. And I, for one, am not of the philosophy, if you pay more for some thing it makes it better.

Yes, there are times where you need to be careful about repairing something vs replacing it, but RZR frames are not all that complex, and if members are not kinked or crushed, but merely bent, then there is nothing wrong with a competent technician bending them back or even replacing members and gusseting. You need to give these people credit for what they do.

Remember, there are many people on this site, who build or modify our frames, to add engines, and/or suspensions, and we never give it a second thought, other than to admire their creatativity and wonderful skills.

Sorry for the rant, this just hit me the wrong way. Carry on.
Nothing wrong with saving 500 bucks if its just as good.. Most time when they pull a frame they don't get it perfect.. I guess for a RZR thats probably fine. I was just saying For me I would rather just replace it given the cost of a frame VS fixing the frame.. If it was a car or truck then sure pull the frame because swapping the frame on those is a HUGE ordeal and expense.. On a RZR not so much.. Ever seen one with all the plastics off? Not much to them..
