The Polaris lock and ride 26qt cooler is fantastic!

 

Couldn't agree more. Very happy with ours and knowing how well it performs, okay with the price we paid. To be 100% transparent, we do use two frozen reusable ice packs in ours, which work great at dividing up the beverages before icing them down.

I concur, I have one of these and it blows me away how good it is. Better than my Yeti and Orca combined!

 

Polaris lock and ride here. The thing works great and keeps drinks cold after 8 hours of riding in 90 degree weather. They should have made the drain removable from inside the cooler but pulling the cooler is no big deal either.

 

The lock and ride looks great, along with the 72qt storage, but its just too small, poor drain placement, and hamper the ability to open the storage behind it. If Polaris fix those 3 issues, they got a winner! Like what I would love to see is instead of a lock-n-ride, just make an entire trunk replacement, this would free up 3" of wasted space on all sides!

Until there is a decent purpose-built solution, I have a 70qt igloo from Walmart I bungie in the back and an old laptop bag for tools.

 

You must be short. My wife can’t open the storage box either. I have zero issues opening the storage box, or reaching everything inside it.

I don’t have a problem with the amount of storage available, because I like to see out the back window. I have door bags, storage between the seats, and two small rollbar bags mounted above the driver and passenger. Plenty of storage.

 

Here you go. This is the space you would have for storage behind the Polaris lock and ride cooler. Tape measure is at a slight angle, so the number would be slightly less.
