Install a good clutch kit and make better use of the power you have now. Doug
I agree, emphatically! I'll even go so far as to say that, done right, there is no other modification/upgrade that you can make to your otherwise stock RZR that will have as much positive effect on your power-train and performance. I should qualify that comment by saying that I can't speak for all the other clutch-kits that are available, but I will assert that the SLP (Starting Line Products) custom clutch-kit is one of, if not THE, best clutch-kits available, as I, and many other Forum-members have discovered. It'll turn your RZR into a whole different machine, performance-wise. My two-bits......

Cheers

Clutch kit and keep your wheel and tire package light, and keep your accessories to a minimum ...in other words keep it light and the 800 has plenty of giddy up for most terrains that theres power to spare....outside of dunes. I would recommend getting the suspension upgraded first and you will be able to drive it faster.

Here's something to keep in mind.

Picture a 2012 - Polaris RZR 570 w/Elka Shocks and Aftermarket Tires/Wheels.
A stock 570 would run in QR3
This buggy runs in QR2.

UTVRR - Northern Series - Windrock - Coal Creek, TN:

April Race: Overall Winner - Polaris RZR 570 running in QR2.
May Race: Overall Winner - Polaris RZR 570 running in QR2.

Moral of story: Depending on what riding you're doing you can gain performance by making suspension upgrades and minimal, if any, driveline/engine modifications.

Where do you ride (area of country) and what type of riding do you do?

I guess my question is what are you talking about power? Accelaration, top speed, pulling power???? What.
Personally I think these things have plenty of power for trail use or fire roads. Maybe not for the dunes. But that's why they have the Xp or a sand rail.
I guess what I'm saying is the rzr is what it is and your not going to get it super fast or pull tree out of the ground with out spending $$$$ and lots of it.
