Costco has GoPro hero4 on sale for $399. I bought it but honestly the quality of my adventure cam is pretty close. I'd sell my pro x adventure cam for $55 shipped. Uses same mounts as GoPro. Just depends what your wanting to do with it to justify $400 for a camera.
Overall the GoPro is hard to beat, if you want good 1080HD wide at 60 frames per second. If you want to edit and make cool videos it's also capable of custom settings like 720@30fps for super badass slo-mo that glides like butter in an edit. I use a 64m mini card and with spare batteries I can keep my cam going for a long time.
So far in a bunch of WORCS stuff my little GoPro just keeps on ticking. I am using an older model, Hero3 silver, I love it.
Contour 3 a awesome 1080 p action camera that will mount anywhere on your RZR or helmet only about 1 and 1/2 inch in diameter 4 inches long also will go 30 feet under water only $140.00 with extra card at Amazon
I have the Contour 2 and it has been through hell and back, from snorkeling to limb beatings while riding. Great cam for the money and super simple to use.
I have a couple. I have the Polaris DVR camera/monitor rear view mirror. It's great, I have it set so it turns on automatically and begins recording whenever you start your vehicle. I also have one of the less expensive go pros and I wear it on my helmet. We get great videos on every ride.
Go Pro Hero 4 Silver here... Have amount on the roll bar driver side so I can easily access. Also fits on my son's helmet and drone.. :ride: Great picture quality...
they come with several size rubber straps that can be adjusted anyplace and any angle, also come with a helmet mount, go to there sight or Amazon and you can see all there different mounts also you tube has a video that compares the Contour 2 to the 3 model MADDOGWFO
I got a GearPro cam for Christmas last year and it works great. Not top of the line perhaps but for $70 it produces great images. Even over rough stuff the stability is top notch. I have several hours of videos stored including a couple on Youtube. The only drawback is short battery life.
