I was seriously doing alot of research on CNC Plasma tables in the last 6 or 8 months and so far I keep coming back one big problem or hurdle in my shop.
That is space, not enough of it. Because I do multiple different projects from building houses additions, decks, fences, kitchens and bathrooms. Alot of high end custom one off stuff. Usually hard shit 90% of contractors don't want to touch. I love it.
Anyways I also do alot of custom steel work as well. Steel fire escapes, railings for inside and outside house. In my small shop behind my house. It is just a 18' X 36' with 9' ceilings. Not the ideal 😕 😪 size shop.
Was always going to move out to the country far from neighbors and build my ultimate shop. Well expensive divorce and two young girls and a dead beat ex-wife. Not cheap. Plus my daughter's both went to University in the medical business. Now that is all over. I am 60 and slowing down in life a bit. I have no desire to move. So I make do with what I have , besides it is all payed of. I have come use to making things work in my little shop.
So the more research I did on plasma tables and all the cost ($$$$) and square footage they take up. I was going to make my own. Well I already own a plasma machine, I will just build the table.
Well that can be costly as well and the amount of time and money just didn't make sence.
I have been eyeing out the Arcdroid out for years. So I think 🤔 in my situation it has the best bang for my bucks ($$$$).
So has anyone on here have one and what is you likes and disslikes about it.
Cheers 🍻
