It was about $55 with fuse, tail light wiring adapter, fan, clamps and silicone adapters. 4” fan, 270 cfm = 20 more than a blowhole. Local Plumbing wholesale supply for adapters and clamps.

IIRC I read somewhere on this site (maybe the CanAm site?? - can't find it at the moment) that was that case.

Someone did the math and it did not work at high speed CFM/CFS wise - maybe for rock crawling it was an improvement but too restrictive otherwise.

That's been our experience. We installed a 270cfm fan on my buddies '18 XPT separately from the main intake tube. It helps drop the temp after hard pulls but does nothing to keep temps from building (higher than stock HP, heavy over-paddled molded tires, aggressive riding)

In preparation for spring I'll be installing a 400cfm fan on my '17 XP4T leaving the stock intake tube alone.

edited to add: these are not Turbo-S (not sure how to add a new intake to the turbo-S)

Talked to a guy that works for Polaris that was my dealers go to guy for sand dunes. He said the fans are a waste of money, actually restricts air flow. He recommended taking off the belt cover on the sand which I did. Worked great.

IIRC ST said that in a vid somewhere. The stock setup moves so much volume that you can't put enough fan on the system to improve it.
