I was wondering if anyone pulls a trailer of some sort for long camping trips or hunting and the like. I have seen ATV's on the trail with setups for camping that they tow with them.

I would really like to see what all of you have come up with for that extended stay out in the bush that you haul behind the RZR. Work trailers are ok, but I really want to see the ingenuity that people have and there Fab skills.

Post up what you have please and add the pictures and description of what you have.

Fair enough. Have you used it for anything besides towing the RZR?

I have one with a plastic "Roof box" type container on it from Harbor Freight that I got with the intention of Hauling behind the RZR but I need to change out the hubs to accept a set of RZR wheels so I don't need extra spares. I also might be getting a small open box trailer as well and would need to change the hubs on it too.

I have a 64"x10' galvanized trailer I tow my rzr with.. Light weight.. And if someone breaks down on the trail. I can hook it up to the rzr and tow them out of the woods.

I have a 4'x5' trailer I built out of angle with a wood floor. It has 3' high sides and a removable rear door, as well as a removable top. I use it around my property for hauling fire wood, brush, grass clippings, leaves, ect. I also built a removable leaf vac on the front for easy cleanup.
I know your looking for a trail rig, I built mine out of 1/8" 1.5" angle, pillow block bearings on 1.5" axles. Not the lightest trailer, but its a tank which is what I wanted.

I love that trailer/boat, what a great idea!

ANY trailer AND pictures are welcome here. I just want to see all the ideas. Not only for myself but for others as well.

Please post pictures if you have them.

We have a 6'x10', steel, open trailer w/ 2' expanded metal sides and a fold down ramp that we use to haul our RZR. When deer or goose hunting, we hook the trailer on the back of the 570 to haul people or gear (decoys, blinds, guns, etc) to the field. Last fall, my Dad, two brothers, and I had about a 1/2 mile MUDDY walk to the woods in which we deer hunt. We usually drive the truck about 1/4 mile and park when the ground is frozen. It was way too muddy, so we decided to hook the trailer on the RZR, pile everybody into the trailer and I'd drive them back to the woods. The bean stubble was a muddy, soupy mess. The further I went, the harder the trailer pulled...I kept looking back to see if it was rutting, but it wasn't. I started to slow up to try and figure out what was going on. One of my brothers leaned over the front of the trailer and said, "Whatever you do, don't stop! The trailer wheels stopped turning about 200 yds back, and you're just skidding the wheels across the mud." So much mud had built up on the tires that it had filled the wheel wells on the trailer and stopped the wheels from turning. Returning to the truck was an even bigger challenge as we bagged three deer, and now they were in the trailer. When we got back to the truck, everybody jumped out of the trailer and said the same thing..."That thing is a HORSE".

I tow a 5x8 around my property to gather firewood. RZR pulls it like a champ even when it's fully loaded with wood.

Lets re-visit this. It would be nice to SEE your trailers and what you do with them. Following a link to a new trailer kind of defeats the purpose.

Hey Rick
It is PITA to load photos. You want to see photos of ATV Photos, follow the link.

I needed a trailer I could tow around the ranch behind my Rzr to haul firewood, deer and pigs in, and next time I go out of state to hunt, hopefully an elk.
I found a bed off a Yamaha Rhino on craigslist. Built a frame for it to be the same width as my Rzr .... made sure the bolt pattern was the same as the Rzr. Got tires that were the same size as on the rear of the Rzr and even got a little carried away and found the same wheels to match my Rzr.
