Does anyone know if there is a good reason to use Polaris brand pre mix instead of a good quality antifreeze from a different source.

You can use something else. I have been using DexCool 50/50 for the last 20K miles on this UTV and have used it in others for the last 20 years. Never an issue. I use it in all my client's Rotax aircraft engines too. All my UTV friends use DexCool too. I just changed mine in my 2015 1K Rzr. It's a PITA to do.

I'll be giving this a try here soon in both my RZR's and 3 track cars (and our drag car they sponsor). We are actually doing a review in the process. I'm excited to give it a try, if not any other reason other than getting to try a new product!

Polaris anti-freeze is equal to the performance of any major brand. The only thing I was be cautious about is store brand 50/50 mixes as they are low bidder products with little to no quality control. I know some who bought a gallon of Super Tech 50-50 anti-freeze (Walmart) mix and when they went to use it after is was stored in the cold garage, it was frozen. So stick to quality brands and you will be good.

I always stick with manufactures suggest for antifreeze, my dodge diesel took green I put final charge red antifreeze head gasket started seeping crusty red dry crust. So I switch back to Green antifreeze everything good lucky.my 2015 900xc takes green antifreeze I use Zerex brand. Just my two cents.

Thank you to all of you who replied. I am going to use the same antifreeze that I use in my truck, after all it is worth more then the RZR so I should be more concerned with the antifreeze in it. Thank you for the heads up on Walmart's pre mix. I never buy pre mix anyway because distilled water is cheap and when I lived in the mountains in Colorado I preferred to have the mix a little stronger then 50/50.
