I'm going through a ton of sc-1 every time I clean my xp turbo. Is there a cheaper alternative that gives similar results?

Same here. Not taking the thing to a car show, so it doesn't need to be shiny. In my younger days, I liked my toys all shined up, but age has taught me function over form is the way to go for most things in life. I go by the 20/20 mentality. Just needs to look good from 20 feet at 20 mph.

Go on Amazon and order "Wash-Wax-All".

It's a gallon of product plus the nice micro fiber towels. It last forever. Best thing I've found for a side by side.

Doesn't attract dust like other stuff. Clean up is easy. Application is super easy.

Best glass cleaner that I've found. I use it on every thing I own.

It says it is a waterless product, meaning you don't have to wash your machine first, but I always wash my stuff first.

I do the maintenance and shine job. Takes quite a bit of time but it looks great afterwards. Ive got alot of money invested in my RZR (as we all do) I like it to look the way it did when I brought it home after every ride. Thats just me, others may feel different. I dont know maybe it makes me feel like I still have a new machine. It really gives you a chance to look things over as well.

I use Cerakote and it’s lasted all summer and still looks new. Follow the directions to a T and it will turn out amazing. 1 kit did the rzr and 1 on the truck.

I would like to here more about how it holds up in mild mud and clay over a trip or two? I see you are in UT keep us posted ,as you get more mud than summer dust ...interested for sure  I will probably order some tomorrow
What I am looking for is something that prevents the mud / clay from imbedding into the black oem plastic like ...the bed material is made of ...and last for a full weekend.
SC1 doesn't do that IMO ...but otherwise it hides dirt great

Joe gibbs speed shield here. About 6.50 per can. Smells great, works just like sc1, makes your cleanup go much faster after a weekend of being in the dirt. I had used sc1 for probably the last 10 years till I found this stuff about a year ago. Works exactly the same at half the price. I will also say I'm not doing this for the "bling factor". I do it for saving me cleanup time later and to protect the surfaces.

I also use it to reduce the amount of mud stain after a long weekend. Prime example was 2 rides ago. I completely forgot to spray my rig down b4 a 4 day trip to Tennessee. It took me probably twice the time to get it clean as it normally does when I coat it. It normally takes about 1.5 to 2 cans to coat my turbo s 2 seater.

Maybe a stupid question but ...What have you guys found that works the best to get the rubber hoses like the coolant lines clean . The engine area seems to be the most difficult to get really clean . The rubber hoses get dirt stained and it seems almost impossible to get them clean, once they dry out they still look dirt stained. Once I spray them with SC1 they look good but I am looking for something that really gets them clean to begin with. Also even the aluminum on the engine gets the brown stain that doesn't come off. I understand it all takes elbow grease but just curious if anyone has found something better for the burned on dirt stains on the engine and hoses ..etc.
I currently use Simple green but it doesn't work well in that area

well busted my hump cleaning my rzr just the first few times, never again. im with the guys using the spray tire foam,i use mcquires or armoral brand whatever is on sale.first i have a bug sprayer and mix simple green half n half. recently learned even 4 parts water gives me same results. when machine is dry i drench the entire machine with it . i do the inside last. then i use water hose with sprayer and rinse the interior first, then machine. my control arms and wheels look great still after just the simple green. i have beadlocks and they come clean as well. after it dries i use the spray foam,i use entire 4 to 5 buck can on floors dash and the entire outside plastics, under the fender wells and wheels and tires. i come back and looks like new almost. sometimes i hit the tires 2 times as the ky mud is all over my machine in every crevice when i clean it. the spray foam makes plastics and contol arms look like i just painted it all. sometimes i spray the foam on a rag and wipe the plastics if im wanting to be perfect. imo the foam makes cleaning the next time easier. so about 30 min or so with water hose, pressure cleaner better and faster but got to where i dont use it. yes my hoses have the dirt ground in like others mentioned, and inside the rear fenders always have 10lbs of unseen mud in them when i simple green and rinse off. it comes clean and perfect as id ever need it.. as,every ride i take anywhere from my house the machine will be covered in mud after 1 ride. i also use crc sylicone spray after every 2 rides on my bushing areas and all rubber i can see. they say it rejuvinates rubber seems like. since using sylicone spray my shocks dont sqeak andmore and my suspention seems like its quiter from it. hopefully its the right thing cause im liking the way i clean now. lot less elbow grease. im lazy after a day riding :)
