I only want one for the defroster. It sucks when you hit a puddle and the steam from radiator comes up and fogs the inside of windshield.
So who makes the best defroster?
They definitely help, especially at slower speeds. I'm in the process of setting our little machine up that way. We really enjoy ours that's fully enclosed but we go year round and the older I get the more I dislike cold. Adding a heater to the little one will make it so we can take it earlier and later in the year.

I just took a look from Craig's link.

I like that the ice crusher has 6 vents. You could probably mount the unit under the center storage, possibly.

According to the specs though, looks like the inferno has more hest output.. inferno also doesn't need the additional bypass as it's included. Ice crusher is quite a bit more expensive.

I'd love to run a heater too but not into a full enclosure, especially if i go with an aftermarket cage st some point.

Several things to consider.

thread necro alert!

Looking into adding a heater to my 2018 XP 1000. Currently looking at the SATV and the Moto Alliance Firestorm version. I am leaning towards the MA Firestorm so I don't lose use of the cupholders with the SATV version being mounted under the center dash cubby. The Ice Crusher version is an option as well. I don't want to lose the cubby hole but honestly I wouldn't miss it that much. Will the two extra vents on the Ice Crusher make that much difference?
