Addressing Heat in the Cab

We've all felt the scorching heat in our RZRs, especially during the summer. Much of that heat comes through the center console. That's why we developed the Wolfsnout Cool Cab Kit. It seals off heat entry points and creates a sub-tunnel to funnel the heat out of the cab. But just how hot does the center console get, and how much does our kit reduce it? We put it to the test, and here are the results.

Before Installing the Wolfsnout Cool Cab Kit:

Without the Cool Cab Kit installed, the center console can reach up to 164 degrees, emitting significant heat through the gear shifter and throughout the console. We tested a Turbo R before installing our kit by riding it in high gear for 2 hours on 80-degree trails. After riding under these conditions, this is how hot it got.

After installing our Cool Cab Kit, the center console temperature dropped significantly to as low as 82 degrees. Even the hottest spot showed a 60-degree reduction, going from 164 to 104 degrees. We tested it under identical conditions: the same Turbo R, the same trails, for the same 2 hours, on another 80-degree day. The only difference? We installed the Cool Cab Kit.

We offer Cool Cab Kits for all RZR models, including the Pro XP, Turbo R, Pro R, XPT, 1000, and 900. Each kit is crafted from high-quality insulating materials and precisely die-cut to fit your machine perfectly.

For the Pro R model. Crafted from strong rubber, creating a seal to block heat entry points, and includes an aluminum-faced closed-cell foam for heat deflection.

The Pro XP and Turbo R kit features the same heat sealing rubber construction, complemented by a flexible thermal closed-cell foam backing.
