I'm thinking about trading my 2010 kawasaki bruteforce for a sit in utv. I primarily ride trails and plow snow in the winter, I like the new ace 570 but don't know how it will push snow with the lighter weight. I looked at either a rzr570 or 900 trail also but don't know how a two seater will handle if you are mostly riding solo. If you are riding solo, does the ace handle better than the rzr trail? Any input is appreciated.

I have owned a 800 a 570 and now a 900 trail. They all plow snow fabulous. I honestly think the Ace will kick ass when it comes to plowing. As far as being to light to plow it is nothing to worry about. I used to do all my plowing with a 400 explorer 4 wheeler and it worked great. To answer your question it would be weather you wanted to have a rider or go solo.

Im normally solo in my 50" and i love it, if somebody breaks down they dont have to sit out they can just hope in with you! Also more room for coolers :xboit5:

I own an Ace and Rzr's

I would get the Rzr 570
simply because you have more room for gear and can take a passenger when you want to

The Ace is a BLAST to drive, it is more maneuverable, and super comfortable. It will plow just fine, like any ATV but even easier with a steering wheen and one hand to control the winch
The ace uses a different type of suspension from the Rzr, the RZR suspension is far superior in my opinion. However the Ace fills a need for a single seater and they are a ton of fun. This is a tough decision, but if I was in your shoes I would get the rzr
and then go back and get an Ace :)

Make a list of pros and cons
Ace will be faster, more nimble, more maneuverable
Suspension upgrades and travel are limited, less cargo space (still plenty!)

Rzr, more room, heavier to push MORE snow better, ability to carry passenger /dog/ more gear. Rzr has better suspension
Rzr harder to turn around (slightly), bigger to tow, bigger machine, not as nimble

Tough choice!

I sold my ACE (the smaller engine..325?) and bought a 900 RZR XC. I liked the ACE till I drove a RZR. Not in the same league partly due to Turf mode which actually makes the 900 have a better turning radius than the ACE in most cases..due to the locked differential), Engine Breaking which makes it much easier for long descents, and power steering which remarkably makes it much more fun.

I have driven ACE's since and I would never go back. Someday, they may build a better ACE with the big motor (If you look at the ACE forum..often the small engine ACE will beat a 570 in a drag race), EPS, Turf Mode and Engine Breaking along with better suspension. Perhaps then .... but probably not even then.

Too much fun occasionally taking a companion.

The only CON on the RZR is the cost...but once you get over that as I have, you are one happy camper.
