Just looking at the 900s on website. What else does the eps come with besides powersteering for the 1800 price tag?

Locker huh? Might persuade me too.

The front differential is just a quicker engaging unit, they both lock up when needed. The early versions also included turf mode rear end. The non eps steers pretty hard compared to other rzrs. It requires 20% more effort, not a problem for some but I would test drive one first so you can see for yourself. Aftermarket power steering can be added for around $600.

I was going back and forth as well. My S has eps, and I rode my brothers non eps xp900 the other day.. I never realized having power steering is so nice. But like said before, the quicker engaging front end also sold me for the 900S eps. I do like the white tho.

I haven't rode either so my opinion may not amount to much.

The quicker engaging front end has been said to be better than before. With that being said I have not been disappointed in the old style front end. Flip the switch and all 4 wheels turn.

Has anyone been able to see the rears turning before the front engages? I haven't noticed it on Polaris quads or sxs machines.

Its not just that the rear tires have to slip before the front engages, it is more the fact that the rear tires need to continue to slip for the front to stay engaged. So your rear tires are turning 20% faster than your front tires with the old system. They only need to turn 4% faster with the new system. Where this makes a difference is in snow, and on very narrow shelf trails with a big drop off right beside the trail. You don't want the rear tires to need to spin for the front tires to pull, because the rear tires spinning will tend to make the rear of the machine walk to the downhill side, and off the side of the trail.
