Price the same? What dash kit is needed to install on an '18 XP 1000?

 

750 shipped. You would need the install kit part number 2884021, you would need a 2017-18 ride comand dash and a small bracket that holds the ride command to the dash

 

Works on a 2019 1000S? Same install kit as mentioned above for the 2018? would I need a dash kit for a 2019? (From above seems like maybe not). Anything else needed? Thanks!

I'm working on getting a part number for that ride command dash. But yes, you'll need that dash, install kit and a bracket that holds the screen to the dash. It will work fine on your ride

 

Been stated before. The 2019+ 7 button Ride Command do not work on earlier models. Different wire harness........

 

They most certainly 100 percent do. Iv installed them. The 7 button screen with the 19+ install harness works like a stand alone system on any rzr model with the same style ecu

 

Also generals and rangers. Maybe even snowmobiles

The first 7 button install i did was on a 16 rzr 1000 that had ride command installed as an accessory. It worked fine, only had to buy a few wires because the 5 button is wired differently. It was the amfm adapter, usb cable and the gps antenna. Was like 70 bucks for some aftermarket ones. The dash only needed some light trimming to accomidate the 7 buttons and the light sensor. Like a said worked great. I'm not sure where people got the idea that you cant upgrade to the 7 button.?‍♂?‍♂

 

Hey man, can I ask you a quick question (you seem to be quite knowledgeable on RC).
Is there any difference between RC for a 1000 vs a turbo? I installed a 5 button RC in my turbo, not sure why it came out of and it seems to work correctly. Are you aware of any issues with this or anything that might not work as intended?
