For good reason, racing is great, but destroying race vehicles just to make an "interesting" track blows, Hitting those Moguls with less than 20+" of travel would be painfull at the least..

Cool Video though.. Glad to see the thumbs up after the barrell roll/flip/twist?

That's what dirt bikes were invented for. You deserve to land on your head tearing through there on anything with four wheels. Fun to watch other people throw their money away though.

Those moguls at Speedworld have been do-able since the day they built them - at which time they were like mountains!! I was the first UTV to hit them in my SR1, and even with my lil 8" shocks and a-arm setup they were do-able. For a while, the best line was along the k-rail, but there was a line through the middle that was good if you needed to pass. They wound up shaving them down the 2nd day because some buggy guys wadded it up pretty hard. Once they shaved them down, they were easier.....then they started to get wallowed out over time, and they got kinda gnarly again. STILL, us UTV's could hit them fine. This past year they have been downright WEENIE-ISH and boring.

I did hear, however....that they have redone them and made them all big again this past week! :ride:

PS - They build them that way because it's a way to seperate the men from the boys.....this is short-course racing. It IS motocross for trucks.

PPS - I can't see that video - is that a video of Greg from LSR when he wadded it up hard in those whoops?? If so, he wrecked because his rear shock had broken just before that and he bottomed out hard on the first whoop, sending him nosefirst into the next one. Bad deal all around....

Im with KOH on this one,, Its always ammusing to me how the sand dune guys bar for susupension approval is the whoops at the bottom of Olds.. It may be your test but the whoops at the bottom of Olds are nothing like dirt whoops on a track or desert.
I think that starts alot of disagreements on here,, The dune guys think the car is the best handling thing EVA.. and the Dirt guys or racers are already looking to improve, Niether are right or wrong, just everyone has different ideas or plans for thier car and where they want/need it to preform.

ok im going to try to end this one too ok im a desert guy and you guys have to remember this thing is stock and yea ive gone 75mph over some huge desert whoops and yea if it had more travle and some bump stops yes it should be a lot better but for a stock machine, come on what do you expect they have to make it for slow people too

and have saying that the olny thing that ive been in that would out perform a rzr xp is my buddys dads class 7 unlimmeted truck and his trophy truck and ive been in a lot of machines that you would think it could out perform a xp.
now after going to cal city with mine i would have to say the xp is the top dog out their cause of the not so wide trails and sharp turns that a buggy or a truck could not do cause its just too big

the reasothe ass end kicked so high is that jump is far too short or steep to be hitting with a rzr, i addressed it in the other threa and post a video of a dirtbike doing the same thing on a similar jump in scale... the spread of misinformation due to lack of knowledge on here is crazy!! if i was polaris i would buy this site out and regulate it:rm_thumbdown:

heres a dirtbike doing the same thing...you cant blast short jumps like that!! coast up blip on the face....im not saying the rzr doesnt need valving or springing...im agreeing...im disagreeing with moving the shock, koth imo made a fix that will cause issues in the long run, i bet its putting force on the shock shaft and other areas...
