I am installing the Racertech rear frame/diff stiffener bracket today. The S models came with one from the factory to support the longer/wider suspension. Saw it on here to do this. This forum is so helpful!
Does Super ATV also recommend this? I didn't know that and I have the same kit waiting to be put on as soon as I get home.

Edit: Just to clarify, what brace are you talking about?
I'd like to see a picture of what bracket you are speaking of.

SuperAtv,

Part #20 is the Polaris factory rear suspension brace they added to the 800 S models to support the longer travel and tougher abuse.

Here is Racetech's version of the rear brace installed on my RZR
Hope this helps!

Finally got test drive. A couple things. The sway bar was an issue. It keep like binding up and making a horrible clunking noise. Just unbolted it and rode without. The shocks are very adjustable and i did find good settings front and rear. The the RZR handles soo much better, smoother was a joy to drive. If anyone knows how to adjust that sway bar i would appreciate it. If not will ride without it was not problem

Finally have this 800 to 800 S conversion as done as I am gonna do. Need one more rear S fender flare. Found all the others used off Ebay and they are in good shape. Just got the 27x9x12 and 27x12x12 Bighorns on. It has 14"s of ground clearance now. This thing is gonna be sweet. Very happy with the results. Decided to not run a rear sway bar. I am not a sway bar fan anyway.

Looks awesome Mike!

I adjusted both sway bars to the work bench. I don't do hi speed cornering, and ride is much better (smoother) on rocky trails without them. Just re-install support brackets, as they are part of frame structure.

Tekrsq,

Been shopping around for flares. Saw on Amazon last week Polaris OEM S flares for $145. Now they are gone. Any suggestions?

Gonna do 27x9 and 27x12 tires as soon as i can afford them. Will need to clutch then too

65nova2s,
Thanks for asking. Put them on Ebay you will sell them quick. I paid $60 for 2 fronts and $35 for 1 rear. Saw some rears go for $50

CA 800
Thanks i was riding it when it was 50"s without sway bars and it was way better specially in the mountains. I put all the brackets back on too

65nova,
Do you still have the s flares? Will they fir a 08 rzr converted to s model? where are you located? if they will fit mine I am interested in doing some business with you.

Art
Yea I still have them, located in Kansas, pm me I'll take 100 bucks for all 4. As far as what they will fit I would think they should fit any 800 model, they came off of a 2014 S. Maybe someone else knows something I don't though...
