Well, I personally hate everything about 2-strokes, but it’s your RZR and your money, so whatever peels your banana...

 

If you’re talking about the 1000 thundercat triple then a few things come to mind. Triple pipes would be a SOB to make fit, powerband of a 2-stroke is different and you won’t have the 4-stroke low end torque, power bands are peaky and that’s a high RPM motor. I’m all for making a motor fit but there’s no way I would retrofit a 2-stroke.

Have you disassembled your motor to see what’s wrong with it?

 

I love the smell of 2 Stroke in the morning!! ?? I say go for it we would follow.

 

Low end power isnt much of a concern with the cvt. Yiu could definitely make a 2 stroke work well. Not saying I would do it, but I do love a 2 stroke. Banshees and quadzillas still have a place in my heart.

First thing that popped in my head when you mentioned Banshee. Love how they sound, hate the power band, personally. Id rather have a 450 YFZ.

I like 2 strokes way better than 4 strokes so you get my vote. I still have my Banshee.

 

Ironically enough I just picked up a 2013 rzr xp 900 with a blown motor and picked up a thundercat 2 stroke triple from a buddy's shop and in it went couldn't quite fit in front with out life ending mods so we set it above runs and is fast as hell you will need to add a cooling tank the motor is higher than the rad oil injection is a pain but you have to have it for the water pump bearing I am fighting belt issues now but it runs and drives have to do major exhaust reconfiguration also ton of power though its borderline the power is extreme but I have doubts that it will be manageable enough for any kind of trail stuff but would be a blast in the dunes I think
