I just picked up a 2017 turbo a few months ago. Iv been riding 50/50 sand dunes and trials here in Colorado. It's completely stock at the moment but I wanna start working on it. I'm not too familiar with tuning on these or who tunes them, the only one of read little about is Evo but that's about it. I'm looking to do exhaust, clutch, and tuning but I'm not sure who to go with who do you guys recommend? I'm looking to squeeze out as much power as possible out of it. Thanks

Welcome. I'm running EVO parts and tune on a 2015 XP4 and 2017XPT4. They are both reflashed and run well. At the time the PCVX from Aftermarket Assasins was not available. In my opinion you are better of with a tuner and AA's tunes. I'm a Dalton clutch fan and have put many in. Unfortunately they don't make a kit for the 17. I am using AA's kit with no complaints.

I have All of the AA tunes. They are all very good. Level 3 is amazing on good pump premium gas. Level 4 will require some race fuel or additive.

Do yourself a favor and call Mike at AA and get his package. You will not be disappointed. The recommended clutch settings are pretty spot on, and the exhaust is the biggest bang for the buck out there.

Another vote for AA. I just installed AA ckutch kit nd tuner as well, haven't had it on the trail yet but around the neighborhood it runs great and pulls hard, I'm running his stage 3 tune, and also have stage 1. Also mikes customer service is top notch! And fast shipping too

A couple of things to consider on the additives. The Torco Accelerator doesn't take the octane up the same amount as the VP Octanium. The question is is it enough for your application. For level 3 I believe it is for sure. The thing is, VP achieves it's higher octane through the use of lead as an additive. Catalyst converters and O2 sensors do not like lead. Most agree that changing the muffler is beneficial. A little more power, less temp in the turbo, and maybe a cool look and/or sound. This eliminates the cat as an issue. I recommend eliminating the factory O2 sensor, and using a harness bypass. This is what I did. This sensor makes only minor adjustments at low rims and low throttle. Not enough to matter. Green light to run lead additive

****When considering Aftermarket parts****
You would be surprised how many people throw 3 different manufactures performance parts together and then call us up asking why it isn't working. Then proceed to get mad when I tell them it is hard to determine why it isn't making the power that they are expecting. If I could tell people one thing that is the most important whether you are buying from Bikeman or any other performance manufacturer Stick with one reputable company!. The good performance companies invest the time and resources to test their products before releasing them. A reputable company may not be the cheapest one or the first one to market but it will have the quality and trouble free operation that keeps people coming back.
If you mismatch parts or bargain shop you are creating your own headache!

Dang, too bad I already went evo. I'm not doing it twice. Lol on my next one I think I'm gonna go all AA.....well I guess it's close to evo's stage 3. But I would like to do a one stop shop. Where everything is tuned to run together, rather than mix and match.

I started playing with E85 and found we need to have bigger injectors than the 2017+ XPT. Once I installed Bigger injectors and adjusted fuel flow to match the injectors and E85 the engine began to run very clean with no knock. I then added timing to take full advantage of the added octane of the E85 and found it to be a very stable fuel. With the timing curve modified and AFRs right where they need to be a 5hp gain for each level of the lower level tunes was verified. E85 tunes 1-6 are now available with final HP of-
E85 Level 1 - +5hp
E85 Level 2 - +15hp
E85 Level 3 - +25hp
E85 Level 4 - +30hp
E85 with Turbo Mod Level 5 - +40hp
E85 with Turbo Mod Level 6 - +50hp
