I have a 2017 Turbo that throws a 65990 and 65992 code every time you step on it. It immediately cuts out and starts running like crap. Dealer can't seem to figure it out, i have replaced belt, and spark plugs with no resolution. Anyone else experienced this?
It has 40 hours on it, never done it before now and it now does it every time.

I went riding with a friend 2 weeks ago. 18 turbo. Those codes came up and it was his belt. Replaced the belt, reset the codes and haven’t come back. I see you replaced the belt. Correct belt and clean surfaces?

We just had this same thing on my brothers 15-xp1000, the exact same thing we tried plugs, wires , coil, and we finally started looking at fuel system and when we hooked up at pressure gauge to the fuel rail it was only putting out 30 psi when it should have been 58-59 so we replaced his fuel pump and it fired right up zero issues. Hope this helps

I just experienced a similar situation, popping and surging when I step on the throttle hard, found that my spark plug wires were shorting to my new aluminum boost tube. I had even taken the precaution of adding rubber insulation under the wires but at around half throttle it would act up. I put the old one back on and took it out tonight, runs like it should. May be worth looking into.

Update... Got my reflash ecu back from Gilomann innovations and ran better but still cut out at 7000 Rpm's.
So, I took the aftermarket charge tube off and put stock plastic one back on- runs fine now. Either plug wires were acting up with the alum tube, or I didn't have an O2 sensor plugged in all way.

Sharing my experiences. 2019 1000turbo XP. Got the 65990 code. Backstory….riding a while back at Little Sahara and it started sputtering then shortly after died completely. Towed back. Troubleshooting determined a fuel issue. Pulled the fuel pump and found my filter sock had rotted and fallen off. (Don’t use crappy corn gas!) Sucked crap into my fuel system. Replaced with new AllBalls fuel pump. Then had to replace both injectors. Probably could have cleaned them but… Ran great for a while after that. Then had to replace the fuel pressure regulator because I was losing pressure. and the only way to do that is a factory fuel rail. So in maybe $750 now. Wish they had an inline fuel filter but that’s another story.
Now, in NM and started sputtering again. 65990 and seemed super rich…you could smell it. Pulled the plugs. PTO side black and rich. Other plug damn lean. So, too much fuel on the sober side and the computer was killing fuel to compensate…hence the lean drinker side plug reading. Pulled the rail. Yup, injector wide open so it was filling the cylinder with gas upon turning the key. Gonna try to clean them or replace.
