I believe there is an Odyssey battery that will drop into that spot but I don't know the part number off hand. I'm sure someone will chime in with it.

 

Just out of curiosity why not a secondary?

I went with an Odyssey PC925 to compliment the stock. Isolated and ran to a Blue Sea fuse block under the hood. All backed up a 50A fuse. I use a trickle charge when not in use and love the system! Never a worry about starting up the rzr and all the accessories run without it being turned on. I had allot of help from members on here to set it up.

 

Odyssey is the way to go. Check on their website and it will show the correct battery.

Is the MJ version really necessary, the PC1200LT is quite a bit cheaper.

The PC1200 is even cheaper yet, but swaps the terminals. I read one post saying the wires were long enough to use the PC1200.

 

Odyssey way overpriced anyway.

How much room you got in there? I dont know about yours, but mine has a pretty good sized interstate battery under the seat installed by the PO

 

I've about narrowed it down to a group size 35/85 from Oreillys. AGM 35PLT with 640 CCA, 755 CA and 100min reserve capacity. I believe I can notch out the battery area some more to accommodate the extra length. Plenty other options like yellowtop optima could work I'm sure, but the price tag is a bit much. I know a fella at the parts store and can get a bit of a deal. but this battery lists for about 185 walk in price
