This is one feature I do like, but when I looked at it on the polaris website it said it was not compatible with the 2014 XP1000, hopefully its just a website error because it is a pretty cool piece of kit!

It might look strange on a 14' Dash just with how the dash is designed around the original round cluster. Will be interesting to see some retro'd in though!

 

IF it is compatible, my bet is that the dash units are interchangeable. I have had mine apart, its real simple, only two screws and you can pop out the whole center section.

While not perfect, this is a great step forward. It is on my wish list

 

if it's 700$ and it fits the 2014's it's going in mine for sure!

 

And this is exactly why it IS available! Polaris wouldnt limit themselves by making it just 2015 and newer, they will want to get as many units sold as possible, which means they need to target the 2014 model years also.

 

Anybody notice the tach goes to 9000? whats the rev limiter set to?

 

This unit was first used and developed for their 2 stroke snowmobiles. I looks the exact same. Obviously 2 strokes rev a lot higher than a 4 stroke motor. That's why it goes so high.
