2015 1000's - ECU Program & Mods

I just wanted to give everyone an update on the 2015 RZR 1000 models and what we can do to increase performance... especially with our ECU flash.

What we have been doing is re-flashing your stock ECU to our 2014 program. This program removes the overspin protection and allows your throttle by wire to act more like a cable. This really helps acceleration and overall feel of the machine. When using this 2014 model programming, it disables the seat belt speed limiter and the factory o2 sensor.

Plan on going with mods? You would want to use the Power Commander or any controller for the 2014 model. This really simplifies tuning. This allows you to do things like exhaust and our airXtrem kit.... big bore... ect.

ECU programs are $399.95. We try to keep cores on the shelf, but they go fast. Turnaround time is usually a few days but could possible run into the 7-10 business day mark depending on availability.

See the ECU flash product page here:

Thanks for looking!

Thanks - this is awesome news!!!

Can you still tune a 15 with a 15 tune and not a 14? I am only asking because I have a 15 with a dobek controller and muzzys exhaust. I don't see the financial benefits to replacing my controller with a 14 to run a 14 ecu flash.

As of right now we are only able to remove it.

Dyno numbers for 2015 yet? Is this flash still using bully dog programmer?
Check out the last couple pages of this thread: http://www.rzrforums.net/rzr-xp-1000/167954-bmp-rzr-1000-exhaust-program-18hp-6.html

Baseline power is higher on the 2015 RZR 1000 but we end up with the same peak power as the 2014. This is due to the different cams in the 2015 that do not like to rev as high as the 2014 cams.

*Edit: yes we are now using the Bully Dog programmers instead of the ECU reflash. We are able to do a lot more with them plus having a gauge with all the features it has is pretty nice too.
